The band, the first K-pop group to headline the festival, will share the stage with famous artists, such as Ariana Grande, Janelle Monae, The 1975, Solange, Kid Cudi, Khalid and Zedd.

It has been reported that Coachella founder Paul Tollett visited Korea himself to invite acting to the festival.

Celebrating its 20th birthday, Coachella 2019 will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, from April 12-14, and then for the second weekend from April 19-21.

BLACKPINK will appear on April 12 and 19.

In October last year, BLACKPINK collaborated with Interscope Records, one of the largest music labels under the US-based Universal Music Group, in an effort to increase its efforts to expand the global market. Yang Hyun-suk, founder of YG, has also shared his vision to use an agreement to promote BLACKPINK in North America and Europe.
